2700-Point Bullseye Pistol Match 

CMP Home Range Appreciation Series Match

There will be three matches for those competing in the 2700-point aggregate.  Competitors may also elect to shoot only one or two matches.  Click here to view the complete program which also has links to the CMP Pistol Rulebook.

Course of fire: Each match will consist of a 900-point aggregate.  Each 900-point aggregate will consist of 3-10 shot slow-fire strings at 50-yards, 2-5 shot strings timed fire, 2-5 shot strings rapid fire, 4-5 shot strings timed fire, and 4-5 shot strings rapid fire with all timed and rapid-fire strings at 25-yards.  Note: this is a no-sighter match.  Sighting targets will be provided prior to the start of the match.

The 2700-point aggregate is the total for each match fired with a .22 rimfire, a centerfire, and a 45-caliber pistol.  Competitors may elect to shoot one to three matches.  Juniors may fire the entire 270 shots with a single .22 rimfire pistol.  Competitors wishing to shoot the 2^nd or 3^rd match with the same pistol will be allowed to do so, but only the first score will be reported to the CMP.

All firing will be on fixed targets on the BRRC 100-yard range.  Timing for the timed and rapid-fire strings will be controlled by a whistle or air horn.

Entry fees: $10 for a single match or $20 for all three. Non-BRRC members (except active duty military and juniors) also pay a $10 guest fee.  Entries will be limited to 20 competitors.  All competitors will be squadded into one of two relays. 

Awards: No awards except as may be provided by the CMP.  All competitors will receive a T-shirt and medallion from the CMP following completion of the Home Range Appreciation Series in September.

Start Time: Check-in will be at 7:30 AM with first round down range at 8:00 AM.  The second and third matches for those electing to compete in the 3-gun aggregate will follow in sequence.
