200/300/600-yd XC Match
2nd Saturdays of Most Months

PURPOSE OF MATCH: These matches are held to promote rifle marksmanship and to establish NRA high power rifle classifications across the full course (200/300/600 yards). NRA membership is encouraged but not required.

MATCH SCHEDULE: This will be an 80 shot match fired at 200, 300, and 600 yards. See COURSE OF FIRE below for stage details. The order in which the stages are fired is at the discretion of the Match Director. The Match Director may also elect to have the slow-fire stages (1 and 4) fired concurrently and to have the rapid-fire stages (2 and 3) fired concurrently.

COURSE OF FIRE:

  • Stage 1. Standing position at 200 yards, 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time limit of 22 minutes.
  • Stage 2. Sitting or kneeling position at 200 yards, 2 sighting shots in a time limit of 2 minutes and two ten (10) shot rapid-fire string for score each in a time limit of 60 seconds.
  • Stage 3. Prone position at 300 yards, 2 sighting shots in a time limit of 2 minutes and two ten (10) shot rapid-fire string for score each in a time limit of 70 seconds.
  • Stage 4. Prone position at 600 yards, 2 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in a time limit of 22 minutes.
Note: Come prepared for an 800 Aggregate but be aware that the BRRC Match Director has the discretion to convert the match to a 50-shot NMC if required. Alibis are allowed for this match.

RULES: Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules will apply.

EQUIPMENT: Any qualifying center-fire high power rifle may be used (see NRA Rules 3.1, 3.3, and 3.3.2). Sighting shots must be taken and are not convertible for score (see Rule 9.2).

START TIME: Arrive at 7:15am for squadding.
